Express Shipping Scam? My 19-Day Glasses Order Disaster! 😤

I'm writing this to warn everyone about my absolutely terrible online shopping experience. I ordered glasses on March 30th, needing them urgently because my old ones broke, so I paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. Now, it's day 19, and I still have no glasses! They've been stuck 'in production' for weeks, and even after calling on day 11 to get my shipping refunded – which they did, almost too easily – the glasses are still nowhere near arriving. This company truly doesn't seem to care about its customers. This frustrating delay and lack of communication compelled me to leave this review and try to resolve it with customer service.

Customer: I need to know what is happening with my order, #[OrderNumber]. I placed it on March 30th, paid for express 3-5 day shipping because my old glasses broke, and it's been 19 days. I still have no glasses! CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. I apologize sincerely for this significant delay. Let me check the status of your order immediately. Customer: It's unacceptable. On day 11, I was told they were still in production, and they're still '6 days out on delivery' according to the last update. I already got my express shipping refunded because it clearly wasn't 'express'. CS Rep: You are absolutely right to be upset, and I see here that the express shipping was indeed refunded. It appears there was an unexpected hold-up in the production phase for your specific lens type. We are genuinely sorry for the lack of a proactive update. Customer: So what's the solution? I need my glasses. "Unexpected hold-up" doesn't help me see. When will I actually get them? CS Rep: I'm checking with our production team right now for an expedited update and precise delivery timeframe. As a further apology for the inconvenience, I'd like to offer you a discount on a future purchase once your current order is delivered, and I will personally follow up with you today with the new estimated delivery.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of endless waiting and poor communication.
