I ordered glasses on March 30th, paying extra for 3-5 day express shipping because my old pair broke. But by day 5, they were still in production. Day 10, still in production. It felt like they didn't give a crap about their customers. This frustrating delay compelled me to call customer service, desperately seeking some answers and action.

Customer: Hi, I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I paid for express shipping, 3-5 days, and it's now day 11, and my glasses are still listed as "in production." My old glasses are broken, so I really need these. CS Rep: I understand your frustration. Let me pull up your order. I see there's been an unforeseen delay in production. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, especially given your urgent need. Customer: Unforeseen delay? I was told this on day 5! Now you're telling me they're still 6 days out on delivery, potentially day 19 since my order! This is ridiculous. I already got the express shipping refund, but that doesn't fix the fact that I don't have my glasses! CS Rep: You are absolutely right, and I completely understand your anger. Getting a refund for shipping doesn't resolve the core issue of not having your glasses.
