Let me tell you about my terrible online shopping experience, a cautionary tale for anyone considering this website. My son's new glasses from GlassesUSA were useless; he couldn't see with them at all. We went back to his doctor, who confirmed the pupil distance (PD) was incorrect. The site simply assumed a value, never even prompting me for it, which means it was wrong for us. This whole ordeal made me feel completely frustrated, especially because it felt impossible to reach a real human for help. Email interactions were agonizingly slow, dragging everything out, which is exactly why I felt compelled to leave this review and finally get a live person on the line.

Customer: "My son's glasses are completely wrong. His doctor confirmed the pupil distance is off. Why doesn't your site ask for this crucial measurement?" CS Rep: "I'm very sorry to hear about your son's vision issues and the incorrect PD, sir/ma'am. We do have a PD assumption system, and I understand your frustration. How can I assist you with this today?" Customer: "Assumed? It's a fundamental measurement! And frankly, it's impossible to get anyone on the phone! Emails take days! What kind of customer service is this? We need these glasses corrected." CS Rep: "I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you've experienced reaching us and for the slow email responses. That's certainly not the experience we want for our customers. We can definitely arrange for corrected lenses for your son." Customer: "And then I have to send these back first and my son will be without glasses for who knows how long? That's unacceptable." CS Rep: "Our exchange policy does require the original pair to be returned before we dispatch the replacement. I understand that's inconvenient, but we aim to process replacements as quickly as possible once received."

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
