My recent online glasses purchase was a truly terrible experience, one I hope to warn others about. It feels like a classic bait and switch. I paid extra for next-day shipping because I was in an emergency and needed fast glasses, but my order will now take 11 days total. They took my $20.00 for next-day shipping and then tried to blame me, saying I changed my prescription – which I did, very next day, but was assured it was all set and wouldn't cause issues. Then they cited a "production issue." I felt compelled to leave a review and engage in this conversation because their practices are shady, and I'm stuck without the glasses I desperately need, after being misled and ignored.

Customer: I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I paid for next-day shipping because I needed these glasses urgently, and now I'm being told it will take 11 days. What is going on? CS Rep: I understand your frustration, sir/ma'am. Let me pull up your order. I see here that the delay is due to a production issue, which has unfortunately affected the expedited shipping timeframe. Customer: A production issue? I was told previously it was because I changed my prescription, which I did right after ordering, but I was assured there would be no issue. Now it's a "production issue" and my $20 for next-day shipping is gone, and I have no glasses. This is unacceptable.
