My $372 Nightmare: Scratched Glasses & Return Hell 😡

My terrible online shopping experience is a cautionary tale, and I feel compelled to share it to prevent others from enduring the same frustration. I've spent $372 on SCRATCHED glasses and tried to start a return/exchange, but it's been a nightmare. I never received the return label, and the 'bot' just keeps sending it to my email, which I never received! It's been two days trying to TALK TO A HUMAN to fix this issue with no luck. Then, after FINALLY TALKING TO A HUMAN, they sent the WRONG INFORMATION FOR THE RETURN. This ineptitude is at its finest, and I simply will NOT be buying from them again. This is why I had to contact customer service – to try and resolve this mess.

Customer: I'm calling because I've spent $372 on scratched glasses, and I've been trying for two days to get a return label, but I haven't received anything. Your bot just keeps sending it to an email that never arrives. CS Rep: I understand this is incredibly frustrating, and I sincerely apologize for the issues you've faced trying to initiate a return for your scratched glasses and for the difficulties reaching a human representative. Let me pull up your order information. Can you please confirm the email address linked to your account? Customer: It's [customer's email address]. And to make things worse, when I finally did talk to someone, they sent the wrong return information. I just want to return these glasses and get my money back. CS Rep: Thank you for providing that. I see the previous attempt to send the return information. I am so sorry for that error. I will personally ensure the correct return label is generated and sent to your email address right now, and I'll also send it via text message as a backup. We will process your refund as soon as the glasses are received. Customer: So I can expect the correct label immediately, and I won't have to chase this again? This whole process has been a complete waste of my time. CS Rep: Yes, you will receive it within minutes. I've just processed it, and I'm staying on the line to confirm you've received both the email and text. We truly value your business and are very sorry for this experience.
