Let me tell you, my recent experience with online shopping for glasses has been a complete nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning to others. GlassesUSA has taken $246 of my hard-earned money for an order I never even received. The tracking number for my glasses, order #105081183, has been stuck in Atlanta since February 24th, and despite my repeated attempts, all I get are automated bot responses telling me itβs "in transit." This is why I felt it necessary to call and try to speak to someone, hoping for a resolution for the services they charged for and did not provide.
Customer: I'm calling about order #105081183. It was placed on February 24th, and the tracking shows it's stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I haven't received my glasses, and I can't get a response for a refund. CS Rep: I apologize for the inconvenience, sir. Let me pull up your order. I see here the tracking status. I understand your frustration with the delay. Customer: Frustration? I've paid $246 for something I don't have! All I get from your automated system is that it's "in transit." I just want my money back. When will I get my refund? CS Rep: I hear your concern. While the system shows it's still marked as in transit, I can initiate a lost package investigation for you right away. Once confirmed, we can process a full refund. This usually takes 7-10 business days after confirmation. Customer: 7-10 business days after an investigation? This is atrocious. I've already waited long enough. I used Zinni before and never had this problem. Can't you just process it now? I want my money back! CS Rep: I understand your urgency, and I sincerely apologize for the delay. For security and process reasons, we do need to confirm the package status with the carrier first. I assure you I'm escalating this immediately to get the refund processed as quickly as possible once the investigation concludes. You will receive an email update within 24-48 hours.
